$1 Million Milestone

The $1 million endowment is supported by public and private donors in the form of donations and pledges throughout the past five years. The funds will allow the Foundation to continue its mission of mobilizing financial resources and providing research-based programs that result in impoved student achievment in Lee County.
Since its founding, LCEF has invested more than $1,000,000 in Lee County school programs.
"We are all proud of what we've been able to accomplish in five short years," said Kel Normann, chairman of the 16 member Board of Directors. "Our greatest achievement is being able to make a positive impact on the futures of our more than 9,400 students and teachers here in Lee County. Their success is our success."
