Our Vision. Our  Mission. The Lee County Education Foundation (LCEF) is a non-profit 501 © 3 entity dedicated to supporting excellence in the Lee County public schools.   Our mission is to mobilize financial resources to fund programs that promote student performance and excellence in our schools.   The LCEF was founded in 2003.

Accomplishments

LCEF has set the bar high.   The Foundation is committed to funding research-based programs that are likely to result in improved student achievement.

Our first year accomplishments include:

• Provided financial support for Futures For Kids, an innovative and creative program that links students to future employers.
• Sponsor of Newspapers in Education.
• Funding to implement the Renaissance program, an elementary reading and math initiative.
